and he will take 4 cakes cost 20 rupees

Given:

Total amount= 100 rupees

Total Items=100

cost of each chocolate  x=0.5

cost of each biscuit  y=3

cost of each cake z=3

To Find:

Quantity of each item.

Solution:

Framing the above conditions in the equations:

       0.5x+3y+5z=100.....................(1)

       x+y+z=100...............................(2)

By eliminating y , we get

      2.5x-2z=200

By Hit and Trial , we get

       z=5, x=84

Put the values of x and z   in eq (2), we get

        y=11

Hence,  chocolates=84

              biscuits=11

              cakes=5
