let the number of Rs. 2 notes = 3x
amount = 3x * 2 = Rs. 6x
the number of Rs. 5 notes = 2x
amount = 2x * 5 = Rs. 10x
the number of Rs. 10 notes = 4x
amount = 4x * 10 = Rs. 40x
Total amount = 6x + 10x + 40x = Rs. 56x
So Rs. 56x = Rs. 728
x = 728/56 = 13
Total number of notes = 3x+2x+4x = 9x = 9*13 = 117 notes
amount = 3x * 2 = Rs. 6x
the number of Rs. 5 notes = 2x
amount = 2x * 5 = Rs. 10x
the number of Rs. 10 notes = 4x
amount = 4x * 10 = Rs. 40x
