A boy is at a distance of 70 m from a tree makes an angle of elevation of 60 degree with the top of the tree .What is the height of the tree.

tan 60° =hieght of tree/60
√3 = height of tree /60
Height of tree =70√3 m

Let the height of the tree be 'h'.

now take the Rt. triangle and find the height 'h' by tan60 
i.e.   tan60 = h/70
         h = 700 \sqrt{3} ;)
