Heya!!

Buoyant force will act only on the body immersed in water and will not affect the total load on the scale pan.

So, (A)same load as before is the correct answer

Hope it helps✌️✌️

Answer:

(a) same load as before

Explanation:

Think of it as an application of the third law of motion.

The load = the total force experienced on the bucket.

Bouyant force = The force exerted on the plaster only.

Since Bouyant force is not being exerted on the bucket but just on the plaster.

It won't be counted as a load

whereas the total weights (that of the plaster as well as that of the bucket) will directly be counted as the load.

Hence the answer is option (a)

I hope it it is useful

Thank You.
