A boy is holding a plastic bucket filled with water above the ground level .Name the force acting on the plastic bucket. Why do the forces named by you not bring about any change in the state or motion in the bucket?

The force is acting on the plastic bucket containing water above ground are muscular force acting in upward direction and force of gravity acting down ward direction.
The state of motion of bucket does not change because two equal and opposite forces are acting on the bucket.
