Hey mate!

Here's your stuff. :)

First Let's find out the speed.

Speed=Dist./Time

=3km+4km/1hour

=3000m + 4000m / 60×60sec

=7000m/1200sec

=5.834 m s^-1

Let's find out the displacement next.

The boy moves 3km north and then 4km west, so the displacement will be the shortest change from initial to final position

Magnitude of displacement will be equal to the hypotenuse of the triangle formed by drawing the paths moved , and drawing line from initial point to final point.

Magnitude of Displacement=√(3^2 + 4^2)

=√(9+16)

=√25

=5km

=5000m

Displacement is 5000m west of north!

Now it's time to determine the velocity

Velocity=Displacement/time

=5000m/60×60sec

=5000m/1200s

=4.16667 m s^-1 West of North

I Hope this will help you to throw out your doubts out if rhe boundary.

With regards

-Vatsalya
