 \huge \sf{}displacement = 20 \: cm

 \huge \sf{distance = 62.8 \: cm}

  • The distance is equal to the perimeter of the semi circle

  • And the displacement is equal to the diameter of the semi circle

  \sf{}it \: is \: given \: that \: radius = 10  \: cm\: so \: the \: diameter \: of \: it \: is  \\  \\  \sf{}2r = 2 \times 10 = 20cm

We already saw that the diameter of the semi sicle is equal to the displacement

So displacement=20 cm

distance =Perimeter of the semi circle (top circle part alone)

 \sf{}perimeter \: of \: circle = 2\pi  r \:  \\  \sf{} = 2 \times 3.14 \times 10 \\  \sf{} = 62.8 \: cm

as we saw already the perimeter is the distance so it is equal to 62.8 cm
