The net displacement is 0, as the initial and the final points are the same....
(Final position) x1y1 - (initial position) x1y1= 0 (displacement)

Net displacement of the boy is addition of all distance covered by boy.

Displacement= AB+BC+CD

Displacement=50+40+20

Displacement= 110 m

Thus, displacement of a boy from the initial position is 110 m.
