A boy moves around a square path of side 15m. He completes 1 round in 40 sec.
Calculate the displacement of the boy at the end of 2min 20sec.

Square of side(a)=15cm

Time to complete one round of square=40s

To Find:-

Displacement at the end of 2min 20s

Explanation:-

Perimeter of square=4\times a=4\times15=60m

Boy needs 40s to cover 60m of path\Rightarrow\text{velocity of boy, v}=\frac{60}{40}=1.5\text{m/s}\\\\\text{Now, displacement covered by boy in 2min 20s/140s of time interval, s}=\tex{v\times t}\\\\\text{s}=1.5\times140=210m
