Given:-

• Initial velocity (u) = 5 m/s
• Acceleration (a) = 2 m/s²
• Time taken (t) = 5 seconds

To Find: Final velocity [Let = v] after 5 seconds.

We know,

v = u + at

where,

• a = Acceleration,
• v = Final velocity,
• u = Initial velocity &
• t = Time taken.

∴ v = (5 m/s) + (2 m/s²)(5 s)

→ v = 5 m/s + 10 m/s

→ v = 15 m/s

∴ The final velocity was 15 m/s.
