900 + 400 + 200 =  ₹ 1500

Step-by-step explanation:

Ramesh took amount from Mohan = ₹ 1000

Ramesh took the amount from Sohan = ₹ 500

Ramesh used ₹ 300 for shopping and gave back ₹ 100 to Sohan and ₹ 100 to Mohan.

Now Ramesh has to pay Mohan ₹ 900 and to Sohan ₹ 400.

For this Ramesh has to pay 900 + 400 = 1300 and he already paid 200.

so 1300 + 200 = ₹ 1500

Instead of using purchased amount (₹300) he should add the amount which he has given back to Mohan and Sohan (₹200)
