As we know that
Work done is equal to product of force applied and displacement of body
Here W= Fcos90°•d
F = 40g d= 10 m along y axis
cos90° = 0 thefore W = 0
P.E = mgh.
=>P.E = 40×10×10
=>P.E= 4000J
