Mass = 80 kg

Velocity = 10 m/s

kinetic energy = 1/2 m v^2

                        = 1/2 (80)(10)^2

                        = 1/2 (80)(100)

                         =4000 J

Hence the wok done by a boy is 4000 joule.

Answer:

4000J

Explanation:

m= 8kg

v= 10 m/s

Work done (here, kinetic energy)= ??

we know that,

Kinetic energy=

1 \div 2 \times m \times  {v}^{2}  \\ 1 \div 2 \times 80 \times  {(10)}^{2}  \\ 40 \times 100 \\ 4000j

Therefore the workdone by the boy is 4000 joules.
