A boy on cliff 49 m high ,drop a stone one second later ,he throws another
Stone vertically downward. The two stone hit the ground at the same time. What was the velocity with which the second stone was thrown?

g ( gravitational acceleration ) = 9.8 m/s2

S (distance) = 49 m

Initial velocity is 0

u=0

2gs=v2 - u2

2 x 9.8 x 49 = v2 - 0

960.4=v2

v = Sq. Root of 960.4

= 30.99 = 31 m/s
