A Boy pushes a car with 1000N force and fails to move it. What is the value of frictional force acting between the road and the tyre of the car, if the mass of the car is 200 kg and the coefficient of friction between the tyres and the road is 0.6 (take g=10m/s)

Answer:

1200

Explanation:

The boy fails to move the car hence here static friction acts.

Mass of the car = 200 kg

Coefficient of friction = 0.6

Static friction = Coefficient of friction * Mass * g

= 0.6 * 200 * 10

= 6 * 200

= 1200
