A boy put one rupee coin in the first day in a box. He put 2 rupees in the second day, 3 rupees in the third day and so on. After some days he put one rupee less in the subsequent days. At last he put 1 rupee and then opened the box. He found that the amount in the box is exactly in between 900 and 1000. What is the actual amount in the box? How many days he continued this process?

HELLO MATE 【◆◆◆◆◆】【●●●●●】----------

Total amount is 224 rupees.

Hence, 5x + 2y + 1z = 224

Now our aim is to find the values of x , y , z such that the above equation satisfies.

Given that , the 5 rupee coins , 2 rupee coins and 1 rupee coins are in the ratio of 3 : 4 : 5

Hence x is a multiple of 3 , y is a multiple of 4 and z is a multiple of 5

Therefore , x = 3a , y = 4a , z = 5a , where a is any natural number.

Substitute the values of x , y and z in our first equation.

5x + 2y + 1z = 224

5(3a) + 2(4a) + 1(5a) = 224

15a + 8a + 5a = 224

28a = 224

a = 8

HOPE THIS HELP YOU..☺️☺️
