A boy ran for 2 hours 13 minutes in a race but the announcer wrongly announce this as 2 hours 31 minutes. Find the percentage error.

If boy ran 2hr 13 mins. Then it's total time in hrs is 133/60 hr

Again,

He says 2hr31mins. Then it's total time in hrs is 151/60

Then, %=151/133×100

= 113.53% is answer.
