Hey dear,

◆ Answer -

M = Mo.√(1-v²/c²)

● Explanation -

Let's just take the equation as it is -

M = Mo.√(1-v²)

Now, substitute x = √(1-v²)

M = Mo.x

For the equation to feasible, both sides should have same dimensions.

[M] = [M].[x]

[x] = [L°M°T°]

Thus x = √(1-v²) is a dimensionless quantity.

[√(1-v²)] => [L°M°T°]

[1-v²] => [L°M°T°]

Thus, v² should be dimensionless which can be accomplished by dividing it by c².

Therefore, complete equation will be -

M = Mo.√(1-v²/c²)

Thanks for asking..
