The boy runs 1km in 10 minutes
So, the boy runs 1000m in 10 minutes...
Therefore, in 1 minute, he runs 1000/10 = 100 m
If in 1 minute the boy runs 100m, then he will run 600m in 1 × 6 = 6 minutes.

Answer:

Given,

time taken to complete 1000m(1km)=10 min

time taken to complete 1m= 10divided by 1000

=1 by 100

time taken to complete 600m= 600 by 100

( how is this possible?- by getting the time taken to complete 1m we can easily find out th time taken by 600 m)

Ans:- The boy will take 6min to complete 600 m
