A boy runs along a circular track of radius 14m and covers half of the circular track in certain time. Find the distance travelled and displacement​

circumference of the track C = pi*d

C = 22/7*28 = 88 m

as he covers half the track, distance covered

= C/2 = 88/2 = 44 m

displacement is the shortest distance between the starting point and end point which is nothing but the diameter of the track.

therefore displacement d = 14 m

hence distance covered = 44 m

displacement = 14 m
