hiii!!!

here's ur answer...

given that the boy covers 2km in 5 rounds.

we know that 1km = 1000m

therefore 2km = 1000 × 2 = 2000m

the boy covers 2000m in 5 rounds.

hence, perimeter of the rectangular field is = 2000/5

= 400m

given that the length of the rectangular field is thrice it's breadth.

let the breadth of the rectangular field be x.

so, length will be = 3x

perimeter of the rectangular field = 400m

==> 2 ( l + b ) = 400m

==> 2 ( 3x + x ) = 400m

==> 2 × 4x = 400m

==> 4x = 400/2

==> 4x = 200m

==> x = 200/4

==> x = 50m

therefore breadth of the rectangular field = x

= 50m

length of the rectangular field = 3x

= 3 × 50

= 150m

VERIFICATION:-

perimeter of the rectangular field = 2 ( l + b )

= 2 ( 150 + 50 )

= 2 × 200

= 400m

hence verified

hope this helps u..!!
