For 2nd time period
let the speed in next 20 min be x
distance in next 20 min = speed × time
= x km/hr * 20/60hr
= x * 1/3
=x/3 km
For 1 st time period.
time = 10 min= 1/6 hr
speed= 9km/hr
distance= speed * time = 9*1/6= 3/2km
AVERAGE SPEED
average speed = total distance/ total time
