Given,

F=Weight of a boy=102kg

vertical distance=2.29m

Time=1.32s

To find,

W.D. in climbing the staircase=?

power generated=?

Solution,

Work done= force × distance

=102×2.29

=2.33×10³ J

Power generated by the boy=W/ΔT

=2.33×10³ J / 1.32 s

=1.47× 10³watt.
