A boy's age is one fourth of his mother age.Twelve year's from now, he will be half as old his mother. determine the ppresent age?

Answer:

6 answer because if we let x child age n y mother age we get 4x=y

and equation we get is x+12=y +12 and it is given boy is half her mother age thus x+12=1/2(4x+12) by putting value of y from 1 by solving it we get present age 6 of child and 24 of mother
