=> A boy spend 3/5 of his money buying a cloth 

=>3/5x

=> 1/4 of money buying a shoes  = 1/4x

he stilli had 2400 rs left with him

so lets form an eu2qtaion

=>x = 3/5x +1/4x +2400

=>x = 12/20x +5/20x +2400

=>x = 17/20x +2400

=>x - 17/20x = 2400

=>3/20x = 2400

=>x = 2400*20/3

=>x = 16000

the total money is 16000

w.k.t  he spent 1/4 to to buy shoes

=>1/4 *16000

=>4000 

he sent 4000 rs on shoes
