Let the pocket money be x.

Total %of money he uses 30%

Total %of money remained

=(100-30) %=70of x

But,

Money remained=rs2.45

(given so ,

=70%of x ,= 2.45

=70/100x=2.45

=7*x=2.459*10

=x=2.45/7

=x=rs 70

So,

Total pocket money=Rs 70
