Find the fraction of money left after he spent 3/4 of his pocket money:

Fraction of money left = 1 - 3/4 = 1/4

Find the fraction of money given to his sister:

Fraction of money given to his sister = 4/5 x 1/4 = 1/5

Find the fraction of money left after 1/5 is given to his sister:

Fraction of money left = 1/4 - 1/5 = 1/20

Find the amount of money he had at first:

Money left = 1/20

Money left = Rs 40

1/20 of his money = 40

20/20 of his money = 40 x 20 = Rs 800

Answer: He had Rs 800 at first.
