This can be Rewritten as

Distance = speed × time

Putting the Given Values

s = 340 × 0.8

s = 272 m

So, The Distance Becomes 272m

But Wait This is The Total Distance Meaning The Given Time is The Time That took To Go From Boy To the Hill and again Back to the Boy. This is the Principle of Echo or Repeatation of Sound. So, We just have to divide the Distance By 2 to get the actual Distance between the boy and the hill.
