A boy starts from rest and accelerates uniformly to a velocity of 6 m/s in 15s. he then decelerates uniformly to a velocity of 4 m/s in next 5s. find his acceleration in both cases

v = 6 meter per seconds
t = 15 seconds
Acceleration in Case 1:
a = v-u/t = 6-0/15 = 6/15 = 2/5 = 4/10 = 0.4 ms^-2
Now,
u = 6 meter per seconds
v = 0 meter per seconds
t = 5 seconds
Acceleration in Case 2:
a = v-u/t = 0-6/5 = -6/5 = -12/10 = -1.2 ms^-2
