Hi.

Here is the answer----

_________________

Given---

Acceleration = 2 m/s²
Initial Velocity = 0 [Since the Boy starts from the rest]

For time 1 seconds,

   a =  \frac {v - u}{t}
         v = 2 m/s.

Thus, Displacement = 2 × 1    [Displacement = Velocity × Time]
                                 = 2 m

For time 3 seconds,

    2 = (v - 0)/3
      v = 6 m/s.

 Thus, Displacement = 6 × 1
                                  = 6 m.

Displace covered in 1 and 3 seconds are 3 m and 6 m respectively.
