A boy swim in a 100m long pool. He covers 60 m with a velocity of 20 m/s and cover the rest of the distance with a velocity of 10m/s. Calculate the average velocity of the boy.

time = 60/20

distance in second part = 100- 60= 40
time = 40/10

avg speed = total distance / total time
= 60+40/3+4
= 100/7
= 14.28m/s
