We know, formula for finding time period ,
\bold{T=2\pi\sqrt{\frac{L}{g}}}

where , T is the time period
L is the length of string,
g is acceleration due to gravity .

here, L = 4.9 m and we know, acceleration due to gravity ( g ) = 9.8 m/s²
Then, Time period of oscillation ( T ) = \bold{T=2\pi\sqrt{\frac{4.9}{9.8}}}
T = √2π = 1.414 × 3.14 = 4.44 sec

Hence, period of oscillation is 4.4 sec
