Step-by-step explanation:

speed in x-coordinate = 20 Cos60° m/s = 10 m/s

speed in y-coordinate = 20 Sin60° m/s = 10√3 m/s

distance of another boy on x-coordinate = 36m

time taken by ball to reach another boy = distance/speed

=> time taken by ball to reach another boy, t = 36/10√3 = 6.23 sec

Hope you get your answer. Best of Luck

Answer:

Answer is 3.6 sec

Step-by-step explanation:

Speed in x-coordinate= u × cosΘ = 20 × cos60 = 10 m/s

s = ut+\frac{1}{2}at^{2}

s=ut                                             (∵a is 0 in horizontal direction)

36=10t

⇒t=3.6 sec
