Answer:

= ab×ab+ bc×bc

= 4 ×4+3×3

= 25

= 5

AB +BC = distance

= 4+3

= 7

A boy walks 4km towards east, then

3km towards north

We will use Pythagoras theorem too find the distance between two points.

h^2 = p^2+b^2

h^2= (3)^2+(4)^2

h^2= 9+16

h^2= 25

h= 25

h= 5 km

Displacement is the shortest distance = 5cm.

5km is the distance between points
