Answer:

2.84 KM/h

Explanation:

let initial position of boy  Xo= 0 KM

when he travel 10KM in east X1=10Km

when he travels 2.5 KM in west X2= 2.5 KM

total displacement = 10 - 2.5= 8.5KM

total time taken = 2+1 = 3 hours

average velocity = total displacement / time

average velocity = 8.5/3

average velocity = 2.84 km/h

Answer:

Explanation:As the boy walks east he covers a distance of 10km and than again he travelled a distance of 2.5km towards west .

As we know that the formula for average velocity =
