  • A boy walks 10m towards north of east at an angle 30°

\color{red}\huge{\underline{\underline{SOLUTION\dag}}}

We know that;

How far he have traveled east is "x"

similarly "y" represents how he traveled along north.

But;

 \sin(30)  =  \frac{y}{10}

 \implies  \frac{1}{2}  \times 10 = y

 \color{orange}\therefore y = 5m

Similarly;

 \cos(30)  =  \frac{x}{10}

 \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{2}  \times 10 = x

\color{orange} \therefore x = 5 \sqrt{3}

THEREFORE,

he have traveled 5m along north.

and 5\sqrt{3}m along east.

HOPE THAT HELPS!!
