Hi friend here is your answer.
************************************
We know, velocity=displacement/time
In case 1
So, v=30/60=0.5 m/s
In case 2
So, v=30/(60+50)=30/110=0.27 m/s
So, avg.speed=(0.5+0.27)/2=0.38 m/s ans.
Since , there is no acceleration nor change in direction so motion is linear i.e. in one direction.
