A boy walks at a speed of 4 km/hr. How much time does he take to walk distance of 20 km?

\sf\huge{\underline{Answer :}}

Previous Knowledge Req. :

Distance = Speed × Time

Given :

Speed = 4km/hr

Distance = 20km

To Find :

Time Taken

Solution :

We know,

Distance = Speed × Time

\longrightarrow Distance/Speed = Time

\longrightarrow Time = 20/4 = 5

Distance/Speed = Time

km/km/h

(km×h)/km

= h

Time is in Hours

So, Time = 5 Hours

Time Taken by the boy to walk 20km is 5 hours.

Related Knowledge Bits :

km/h × 5/18 = m/s

km = 1000 m

h = 60 mins = 3600 seconds

The speed we use in these questions is Average Speed.

Avg. Speed = (Final speed + Initial speed)/2
