Answer:

1.2 km

Step-by-step explanation:

difference of time taken while travelling both sides = (t+3) - (t-3) = 6 mins

distance/speed = time

x/4 - x/6 = 6/60

2x/ 24 = 1/10 => x = 1.2 km

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Lets solve this using ratio :

Since the distance is constant ,if ratio of speed is 4:6 i.e 2:3

therefore ratio of time will be 3:2

difference in time (3-2)parts = 1 part = 6/60 hr that implies 2 parts(taking from ratio of time 3:2) is 12/60 i.e 1/5

so distance = 6 km/hr x 1/5 hr =6/5 km
