Given,

▶️Distance = 6km

▶️ Constant speed = 2.5km/hr

▶️ second Constant speed = 4km/hr

To Find:-

➡️Average speed

Calculation:-

Average speed = \frac{Distance}{Time}

= \frac{6}{2.5+4}

=\frac{6}{6.5}

\boxed{1.5km}

so,

Average speed = 1.5km

Average speed:- The average speed of an object is the total distance traveled by the object divided by the elapsed time to cover that distance.

Rate of change of position of a body with respect to time is known as its speed. In the other word the distance traversed by a body is in unit time is its speed. In the case of speed we have not mention any direction. So speed is a scalar quantity.

{\implies{\tt{Average \: speed= \frac{Distance\: traversed}{Time}= \frac{s}{t}}}}   \\   \\
