A boy wants to climb to the top of a vertical pole 13m high .He climbs 5m in 1s and then slips 3m in 1s.Find the time taken by the boy to reach the top of the pole

So, 2m per s
Divided by 2
1 meter per second
(13/1)m per sec
= 13 seconds

Answer 2

he climbs 2 m in 2 sec

i.e. 10 m in 10 sec

in 11 th sec he will climb remaining 3 m and reach top.

so 11 sec
