Step-by-step explanation:

Let the number of toffees Ram gets =x

No of toffees Shyam gets =x-5

x+x-5=25

2x = 25+5

2x = 30

x= 15

x-5= 15-5 = 10

No of toffees Ram gets = 15

No of toffees Shyam gets=10

Hope it helps

Answer:

Distribute 15 candies among Ram(R)+Shyam(S)+Ghanshyam(G)+Balram(B) with condition given:

R+S+G+B=15 and R≤15,S≥2

After giving 2 to Shyam, remaining candies =15−2=13

Now distribute 13 candies in R,S,G,B in

(13)!3!

(13+4−1)!

=

ways

In

C

ways, we have to remove undesirable ways: R>S⇒R≥6

Give at least 6 to R and 2 to S and distribute remaining between R,S,G,B in

(7)!(4−1)!

(7+4−1)!
