I was walking on the shore when I suddenly heard someone sobbing. I went to her and sat beside. She looked at me and continued crying. "Is there anything I could do to make you feel better?" I asked her. She looked at me and started telling, wiping her tears. "Me and my boyfriend planned to meet here at 6 but he came one hour late. I was alone the whole hour and was really scared. When he came, I yelled at him without even thinking about the reason behind he coming late. He tried explaining but I was reluctant to listen to anything. Later even he started shouting and that led to a quarrel."

"That's okay. Everything will be back to normal. But he shouldn't keep you waiting for one hour in a place like this. " I said consoling her. "No there might be something strong behind he coming late. I should have  listened to him before yelling at him", she started defending. "But he should have waited patiently till you are done and explained what has really happened", I said taking her side.

"Being a lover, I should know he won't do that unless there was something unavoidable. I should have been cool until he explained me what happened. I am an idiot" she started crying again. "Yes you are" I said and hugged her.

She hugged tighter, kissed me and asked looking into my eyes,"Now tell me stupid why were you late?"

This is how we deal with things. We act as complete strangers and start explaining things to each other stepping in to the each other's shoe.
