Total Mass=35+15=50kg. Height at 12 steps=12×15/100=1.8m. Change in potential energy=mgh mgh=50×10×1.8=900 So, Work done by the man is W=900 J. Power used , P= W/T =900/5=180W

Answer:

P=61 W

Explanation:

A boy whose mass is 35 kg carries a bag of 15 kg climbs up 12 steps of a stair in 5s.

Each step is 15 cm high.

•°•Mass, m =35+15 =50kg

•°•g =10 m/s^2

Height at 12 steps, h =12×15/100

=1.8m

•°•Change in potential energy = mgh

= 50×10×1.8

= 305J

So, work done by the boy, W = 305J

Power used, P =W/t

=305/5

=61W

•°•Ans:- The power of the boy is 61 watt.
