A boy while driving to his school covers the average speed of15km/hr On his return trip along the same route cover at the average speed of25km/hr due to less traffic .Find the average speed of the whole trip?

Convert the units into m/s.

So, 15 km/hr= 4.167m/s

and, 25km/hr = 6.95m/s (approx.)

Now, Vavg =( V1 + V2) /2

So, (4.167 + 6.95)/2=5.5585 m/d
