Answer :-

1000 pa

Explanation :-

Given,

=> Length of the brick = 16cm

=> Width of the brick = 5cm

=> Thickness = 5cm

=> weight = 8N

Now , contact area of brick

=> area = length × breadth

=> Area = 16cm × 5cm

=> Area = 80cm²

Now , convert the unit of area from cm² to m²

=> 1 cm² = 0.0001 m²

=> 80 cm² = 80 × 0.0001

=> 0.008 m²

Finally , pressure exerted on ground by the brick will be :

 =  > pressure \:  =  \frac{weight \: }{contact \: area \: }  \\  = > pressure \:  =  \:  \frac{8}{0.008}  \\   \\  =  > pressure \:  =  \:  \frac{8000}{8}  \\

Hence, pressure exerted on the ground will be 1000 pa
