A brick is 30 cm long 20 cm wide and 10 cm thick. It weigh 24 N. Find the pressure exterted by it on ground when it is lying with its (i) 30 cm × 20 cm (ii ) 30 cm × 10 cm surface in contact with the ground

If the brick is kept by it's length. Hence, the pressure = 24/0.3 = 80pa.
