we know pressure is force divided by area
.
P =F/A
given data
length of brick = 32 cm = 32/100 mtr.
wide = 10 cm = 10/100mtr .
so area A= length into wide
A= 32/100 × 10/100 mtr2
A= 320/10000 mtr2
weight is equal to applied force by object .
so F = 16 N
P = 16 /(320/10000)
P = (16× 10000)/ 320
P = 10000/20
P = 500 N/M2
