Given:

➜ dimensions of brick, l × b × h = 15 × 8 × 5

➜ dimensions of wall, L × B × H = 1500 × 1000 × 800 { •°• 1 m = 100 cm }

To Find:

➜ Number of bricks needed

Solution:

Volume of All the Bricks used = Volume of the Wall

☛ n { l × b × h } = L × B × H

☛ n = { 1500 × 1000 × 800 } / { 15 × 8 × 5 }

☛ n = { 100 × 100 } / 5

☛ n = 20 × 100

☛ n = 2000

Hence, 2000 bricks will be used in building a wall of length 15m , breadth 10 m and height 8 m.
