  • Brick and Wall are Cuboid in shape.
  • A Cuboid is a 3-dimensional solid shape having length, breadth and Height.
  • So, Its Volume is calculated by multiplying length, breadth and height.

Volume of Brick:

Length = 15 cm

Breadth = 8 cm

Height = 5 cm

∴ Volume = Length × Breadth × Height = 15 × 8 × 5 = 600 cm³

Volume of the Wall:

Length = 500 cm

Breadth = 100 cm

Height = 600 cm

∴ Volume = Length × Breadth × Height = 500 × 100 × 600

                                                                 = 3,00,00,000 cm³

 \sf{Number \: of \: Bricks \: needed \: for \: the \: Wall = \dfrac{Volume \: of \: Wall}{Volume \: of \: Brick}}

Number of Bricks needed = \dfrac{30000000}{600} = 50,000

Answer:

50,000 bricks are needed to make the wall.
